Driving Directions to Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Getting to Las Vegas Motor Speedway

From Las Vegas Strip, Downtown Las Vegas and California:
Las Vegas Motor Speedway is about 12 miles north of downtown Las Vegas.

Option #1

Follow I-15 North to Exit 54 (Speedway Blvd.).

There are 3 northbound lanes approaching LVMS on I-15, pick the one with the least amount of cars all the way to Exit 54. Once on the exit 54 ramp, use the far-left lane or the center lane for direct access into Blue Lot.

Hint – Vehicles in the shoulder lane will be checked for parking passes at the end of the ramp. If you do not have a parking pass, use the center lane or left-hand lane.

Option #2

Avoid the freeway and take Las Vegas Blvd north to Entry #1 for access into Red lot or Entry #3 for access into Brown Lot. This route can save you a lot of time especially early in the day when very few cars use this road to arrive at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

From Salt Lake City, St. George and Mesquite :
Take I-15 South to Exit #54 (Speedway Blvd)

From Laughlin and Boulder City :
Take US-93/95 to I-15 North, Follow I-15 North to Exit #54 (Speedway Blvd)

Taking a Taxi to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Lot's of Las Vegas Taxi cab companies offer services to and from the Las Vegas strip during NASCAR weekend. However, this is the most expensive way to get to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from your hotel. A typical fare from the Las Vegas Strip is $55 each way but in reality you might end up paying twice that amount because of the traffic jam and backlog, which is guaranteed on your way to the Motor Speedway.

Las Vegas taxi cabs bill by miles and wait time. So your fare will continue to go up even when the cab is stuck in traffic.

Taking the Bus to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Due to federal regulations, The Regional Transportation Commission no longer provide fixed route transportation service as it has done in years past to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

However, if you are feeling adventurous and have lots of time on your hands, here is a way to get to from to Las Vegas strip to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on a tight budget.

From the Vegas Strip take Bus 301 Deuce to Downtown Las Vegas
From 4th & Fremont Street North (downtown), take Bus 113 MAX towards Nellis AFB

From Las Vegas Blvd & Craig Ave North (Nellis Air Force Base Area) take a taxi for 4 miles to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
