'great stay' was i lil scared considering the revies about noise and construction. this was not problem at all. check in was very easy, got to choose for a couple o different rooms choose 11 floor, hadslightly obstuctive view of strip (blocked to the north, clear view of the south). room was great very large, bed & everything was fine. shower was great. buffet was ok, nothing spectacular, but above average for vegas. location was great had MGM, NEW york new york, and planet hollywood was all close. and belligo & caesars are wthin walking distance. the only problem was the parking...self parking ws very limited due to constructio and valet always takes a while plus the tip every time. but would defintely stay again

'Fire at the Monte Carlo' We were recently at the Monte Carlo during the fire on the upper floors. The Monte Carlo along with the staff's at their sister hotels MGM and Mandalay Bay did an exceptional job of handling a very stressful situation. They did their best to accomodate all the needs of the people affected by the fire. I have nothing but respect for all they did that day and how well they kept their cool and remained pleasant even tho they were dealing with a lot of stressed people and were as exhausted as we were. I would not hesitate to stay at any of their properties
