Las Vegas climate is best classified as arid. Vegas averages almost 320 days of sunshine a year.

LasVegas-How-To.com I am planning a trip to Las Vegas what should I pack?

This question ranks high on the list of questions we receive from our feedback form. There is no dress code in Vegas. The key is to dress comfortable. Las Vegas has a desert climate and that means hot days and cool nights. The casinos on the other hand have their air conditioners set at 60 degree Fahrenheit in the summer time. Most people dress very causal. There are no dress codes to enter a casino as long as you have on a shirt and shoes.

Winter dressing:

During the winter months, long pants, a sweater and a light jacket are recommended.

Summer dressing:

In the summer, T-Shirts, shorts and athletic shoes are a common sight in hotels and casinos. Also remember to pack a swimsuit.

Pack at least a set of dress clothes, some restaurants and shows might have a dress code. Always check ahead of time.

Remember to bring along comfortable shoes, you'll cover a lot ground strolling through the various casinos
