Nevada Resident Discounts

 

Las Vegas is one of the few cities that go out of it's way to cater to it's local. Most hotels, casinos, malls and restaurants, from time to time will offer deep discounts to Nevada locals.

 

If you are one of those privileged people with a valid Nevada driver's license, State of Nevada government-issued identification card or Nevada Sheriff's Card, you are in luck. Those are the acceptable forms of identification to establish state residency.

 

Below is a list of discounts for Las Vegas residents. To take advantage of these Las Vegas locals discounts, all you have to do is present your Nevada identification card when purchasing your ticket.

Las Vegas Monorail

 

The Las Vegas Monorail is offering discount tickets for Nevada residents.

Nevada resident fare is $1 per ride. Maximum purchase: two (2) single ride tickets per person per day.

 

These tickets are available at all of the Monorail's customer service booths upon presentation of your valid Nevada driver's license, State of Nevada government-issued identification card or Nevada Sheriff's Card.

Booth Locations: MGM Grand Station & Sahara Station

Hours: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily.

Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay

Nevada Resident Adult - $15.00

Nevada Resident Child (age 5-12) -$10.00

Children 4 and under - FREE

 

A valid Nevada issued ID must be presented at time of purchase at the Box Office

Does my Nevada ID have to be valid?

Yes

 

Can I purchase locals ticket online?

No you can't. These tickets are only available at the box office and requires the presentation of a valid Nevada ID

 

I am a Nevada resident and my family is visiting from Nebraska. Can I use my ID to purchase 5 tickets to see Blue Man Group?

No you can't. Local discount are for locals only and 5 local ID's will be required to purchase 5 tickets.

 

My friend and I are Nevada residents. Can I pick up both of our tickets, if I present both ID's

No you can't. All parties must be present at time of purchase.
