Did you know that Halloween is a Nevada State Holiday? No, it’s not to honor “Sin City” as one would think. October 31 is Statehood Day, and schools and state government have the day off. It is also a great night to be out on the Las Vegas strip as many visitors are on costume, and many of the nightspots are doing special events.

Fright Dome at Circus Circus

Looking to get your Halloween thrills? Every October, the Adventuredome at Circus Circus Las Vegas becomes Frightdome. Featuring 23 Rides and Attractions including Five (5) Haunted Houses; two (2) new Haunted Houses with New "SAW" theming. The Haunted Tours at Circus Circus

Every Halloween season the 13th floor at Circus Circus gets transformed. The experience is nothing like you have ever seen. Board a haunted elevator for a trip to the 13th floor. Then tour 13 haunted rooms in 13 minutes.

Madame Tussauds After Dark

During the Halloween period, the famed Madame Tussauds wax museum goes dark and guests are provided with glow sticks to find their way around more than 100 celebrity wax figures. This place will give you the chills as spooky noises, creepy characters and unexpected screams will keep your heath pumping.

Oktober FrightFest at the Fremont Experience

Fremont Street turns into a monster party during the Halloween season. This year Fremont Street is celebrating it's third annual Oktoberfest and Halloween Oct. 3 – 31 with halloween themed FREE live entertainment and specials. OktoberFrightFest is the ultimate festival that combines Oktoberfest and Halloween for a month-long street party. Costumes are welcome.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at the Luxor conducts free Haunted Tours nightly at 8 pm with your paid admission. Find out for yourself if the Titanic ghost stories are true.

Zombie Precinct Haunted House on the Brooklyn Bridge at New York New York

Every halloween New York-New York Hotel Casino treats its guests and fans of Halloween to one of the city's best and exciting haunted house – "Zombie Precinct." This terrifying attraction, is built along the resort's Brooklyn Bridge.

 

The legend of the "Zombie Precinct" states that, while awaiting death in the electric chair, inmate #13 murmured this curse: "Tonight, on my final night alive, all who dwell in this prison will turn to darkness and live as creatures of the night forever!"

 

At the exact moment of the execution, a huge bolt of lighting struck the prison. Everyone in the building was transformed into zombies. Since that night, New York-New York has closed the precinct to the public. But this Halloween, the gates to the precinct will be opened once again in hope of discovering the truth behind the legend. Fright-seekers are welcome to become official investigators and find the key to breaking the curse of Inmate # 13. Just making it out of the precinct alive will be a challenge! Don't miss the Zombie Precinct this year
